KOFI ASARE BRAKO QUITS ASEMPA FM, GUESS WHERE HE HEADS TO

Ace Sports Broadcaster, Kofi Asare Brako will not
be working with Accra-based Asempa FM –
another Multimedia Broadcasting Company
but will officially join another radio station on New
Year’s Day, GlammyNews.com can confirm.
The former host of the station’s ultimate sports
morning show, “Asempa Sports Page 1″ will join
Atinka 104.7 FM (formerly Sena Radio).
This news source is reliably informed that he will
switch from the Sports Presentation which he has
done over years now to host the Drive Time
Show.
The vacant position has since been taken over by
Ejisu-Krapa based Metro FM’s Moses Antwi
Benefo popularly known as PJ Mosey, who left the
station in December 2012 to join Metro FM.
Atinka FM is owned by the CEO of Tobinco
Pharmaceutical Company Limited, Mr. Samuel
Amo Tobin .

Yvonne Nelson’s Tweet To KKD Is Just Torturing Enough For The Man

You would recall, some months ago that, the
ace broadcaster and fashion icon, Kwasi
Kyei Darko, popularly known as KKD sat on
Peace Fm’s entertainment review program
as a panel member and castigated Yvonne
Nelson.
On the show, the fashion icon, stressed that
Yvonne Nelson had bleached her skin and
that, she was not like how she is now during
her Miss Ghana days.
Now, when Yvonne Nelson heard of the
accusation from the ace broadcaster, she
mentioned that, she was very dissapointed
at KKD for saying she had bleached. She
had revealed this to KOD on ‘Hanging out
With KOD on Ghone television.
Now months after KKD has said that, here
he is in a messy hot soup. The fashion icon,
is being accused of raping a 19 year old girl
in a bathroom in his hotel room.

GHANA MOVIE AWARDS 2014 HELD + FULL LIST OF WINNERS

The 2014 edition of the annual Ghana Movie
Awards has taken place as scheduled and some
of the country and the continent’s outstanding
industry players were honoured at the prestigious

Sarkodie to release fourth album ‘MARY’

Multiple award-winning rapper, Sarkodie, has
announced his readiness to release his fourth
album, titled ‘Mary’, and all instrumentals are
recorded LIVE! The rapper made the announcement
on Tuesday via his official social media platforms.
In a rather emotional statement, the ‘Adonai’ rapper
poured his heart out to his late grandmother, who
had always wanted him to record live music but
passed away. Sarkodie also explained that he did
not hint of his current project on any platform
earlier because he needed “time, patience and a
sound mind to record.” He further added that he is
proud to have challenged himself, and “I know my
fans will love this project and appreciate it” due to
the amount of work he invested in it.
The album ‘Mary’ is expected to be released in
2015, with instrumentals by the genius Akwaboah.
Sarkodie already has three albums to his credit:
Makye, Rapperholic and Sarkology.

KWAW KESSE GRANTED BAIL ON HEALTH GROUNDS

Embattled rapper Emmanuel Botchway, popularly
known as Kwaw Kese, has been granted bail by the
Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Circuit Court on
health grounds.
This follows three consecutive attempts by his
counsel to seek bail application for the Hiplife
artiste.
Kwaw Kese was rushed to the Komfo Anokye
Teaching Hospital for the second time on December
24 after complaining of severe stomach ache. He
was still on admission as at Monday night.
Kwaw Kese's lawyer Nana Kwasi Boaitey confirmed
the news in a phone interview with nydjlive.com .
The website reports that a new plea was upheld by
the court and they were processing papers to get
Kwaw Kese out.
Kwaw Kese was arrested on November 22 for
allegedly smoking a substance suspected to be
Indian hemp in public, at a drinking spot close to the
popular ‘+2 Pub’ in Nhyiaeso in Kumasi.
Kwaw Kese is said to have smiled at the decision by
the judge to grant him bail. He is scheduled to re-
appear in court on January 5, 2015.

KKD Denied Bail, Will Spend New Year In Custody

Ghanaian celebrity, Kwesi Kyei Darkwa a.k.a KKD,
has been denied bail by the Cocoa Affairs over an
alleged sexual assault case brought against him by
an unnamed 19-year-old girl.
KKD was arrested by the Airport Police on Saturday
night after the teenager accused him of raping her
at the African Regent Hotel.
Although counsel for the accused, Lawyer Nana
Asante Bediatuo, was earlier hopeful that his client
would be granted bail, that did not materialise. KKD
made his first court appearance on Tuesday, after
spending three nights in police custody.
KKD will reappear in court on Thursday, 8th
January, 2014.

Twitter to express her opinions on KKD’s
alleged rape issue.The former BBA rep from
Ghana,took to twitter this afternoon to
backlash the T.V presenter and fashion
icon, K.K.D. Mimi says she’s too much fed
up with the hypocrisy of Ghanaians.
According to Mimi, what was K.K.D thinking
when he was on social media dissing
Yvonne Nelson about bleaching. Now which
one is more shameful, bleaching or rape?
She tweeted “I am going 2 speak my piece
of mind on K.K.D’s alleged rape case and
since he has a loud mouth, I will be ready
for him when he’s back from cells.” She
said the so many people she’s expecting to
comment should not come talking “sh*t”
because most of them are just a bunch of
hypocrates. To her, music is just a
percentage of what she does. But i guess
that was too late because she didn’t end a
tweet before their “shit” comments started
flowing.
In other tweets, she said it is not unusual
for someone to pay the girl to tarnish the
image of K.K.D but who has time to do that
and what image does he even have though?

KKD IS BEING HELD FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT, NOT RAPE - POLICE

Kwasi Kyei Darkwa alias K.K.D for alleged sexual
assault.
He was arrested Saturday night after a lady said to
be 19-year-old filed a complaint against him.
The two were said to have had sexual intercourse
in a bathroom of a hotel suite but the teenager
claimed she was sexually assaulted by the fashion
icon.
Initial reports said the icon had been arrested for
alleged rape but the Accra Regional Police PRO ASP
Afia Tenge said they are investigating him for
sexual assault and are yet to file charges against
him.
She admits the lady is not a minor but would not
disclose her identity.
Per Section 103 of Ghana's criminal code
"A person commits the offence of indecent assault
if, without the consent of the other person he-
(a) forcibly makes sexual bodily contact with that
person or
(b) sexually violates the body of that other person in
any manner not amounting to carnal knowledge or
unnatural carnal knowledge."
They have however begun investigations into the
case. The two were earlier in the day taken to the
African Regent hotel where the incident happened
as part of the investigations.
The police say when they complete investigations
they would know the next line of action to take.
Lawyer for the icon, Nana Asante Bediatuo told Joy
News the two had consensual sex Saturday night
and KKD is baffled why she now says she was
assaulted.
"There were other people around and it's difficult
for me to understand how a person can be forced to
have sexual relations and the people around won't
hear cries or shouts for help," he stated.
Joy News' Kwakye Afreh Nuamah who was present
at the Airport police reported that the CEO and
Founder of the Finest Productions was wearing a
pink long sleeves with shiny black shoes to match.
"He had a swag which one would be tempted to say
he was from a party but the look on his face gave
him away- it was one of distraught," Afreh noted.
KKD was also without his usual walking stick.

#New – Alleged KKD Victim Initially Confessed She Was Not Raped — Mark Okraku Mantey

Mark Okraku Mantey, a close friend of
embattled entertainment icon Kwesi Kyei
Darkwa (KKD), says a rape charge brought
against his colleague was made by two
unknown guys over the weekend.
According to Mr Mantey, who is himself a
stalwart of Ghana’s music industry, KKD told
him the unnamed 19-year-old lady at the
centre of the rape allegations initially turned
up to the police station to deny she was
raped.
“The second day the same lady came back
to the police and said she was [raped]“, Mark
Okreku Mantey told Joy News Monday.
According to Mr Okraku he [KKD] suspects
one of the guys who made the complaint to
the police is the boyfriend of the lady.
Meanwhile, the ace music producer said
KKD’s brand has been severely tainted.
“I think he will need some specialist who
would direct him in getting the image back”,
he said.
Describing the situation as an image crisis,
he said KKD will have to work a lot more to
rebuild his image.
News broke out Sunday that KKD was picked
up by police for allegedly raping a 19-year-
old girl in a bathroom at the Africa Regent
Hotel.
KKD insists he had consensual sex with the
lady whose identity the police have been
tight-lipped about.
KKD’s Lawyer, Nana Asante Bediatuo, will be
working assiduously to obtain bail for him at
the Adjabeng Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

publicity don’t realise that, they are making

He has also acknowledged taking a swipe at

estates.

I have never used Ganja - Wanlov

Controversial Musician Wanlov the Kubolor, who
has been leading a crusade for the legalisation of
the use of marijuana in Ghana, has made a
shocking revelation to NEWS-ONE, stating that he
has never used the narcotic drug.
The singer became very vocal about marijuana
while describing the law that prohibits its use as
“foolish”. His outburst was provoked by the arrest
and ongoing prosecution of popular hiplife musician
Kwaw Kese in Kumasi for smoking a substance
suspected to be marijuana.
The barefoot walking rapper has over the years
pulled some very daring acts in Ghana including
showing his manhood on TV among others. Most
people have however attributed his unique
behaviour to the use of marijuana, which was
apparently false.
“I have never smoked wee in my life, and I have

Wiyaala wins double at All Africa Music Award

Wiyaala and Bro Philemon won a total of three
awards at the maiden edition of the All Africa Music
Awards held at the Grand Oriental Ballroom, Victoria
Island, Lagos on Saturday.
Wiyaala won two of the coveted 23.9-carat gold-
plated trophies for The Most Promising Artist in
Africa and The Revelation of the African Continent,
whilst Bro Philemon took home the trophy for the
Best Inspirational Artist of the African Continent.
The glitteringly ceremony which celebrates musical
talent across the African continent was broadcast
live on 109 TV Stations and attended by a host of
international African music celebrities including
Davido (Nigeria), 2face Ibidia (Nigeria), DJ Arafat

Meet Grace Omane also Called Efe KKD’s Accusser

Still making the rounds is the rape case levelled
against TV personality KKD. A formal complaint has
not been lodged yet and we wait to see what
happens. But in the meantime photos of the alleged
19yr old girl has started circulating on social media
and we chanced upon this one.
The girl we hear goes by the name Grace Omane
who completed Asesewa SHS which is in the upper
manya district of the eastern region in may 2013. it
has also emerge that this is not the first time Grace
has accused someone of rape and that her recent
victim has to dish out some money to be able to
entangled himself from that charge… stay tuned for
more as we unravel this unfolding story.
But for those of you reading for the first time, this
is what KKD had to say:
Kwasi Kyei Darkwah has wondered why people
lodging next to him at the African Regent Hotel –
where he allegedly raped a young girl – never
heard the alleged victim – who has filed rape
complaints against him at the Airport Police station
– scream for help, if he indeed raped her.
The fashion icon who is famous for his impeccable
English is being held by the Airport Police
Command for the alleged non-bailable offense.
His alleged victim, known only as Effe, filed the
complaint after which the CEO of the Finest
Productions was arrested Saturday night.
KKD told Starr FM’s Kobby Gomez-Mensah in an
interview at the crime scene Sunday that certainly
someone would have heard the lady fight him off if
he indeed raped her.
According to him, the two of them even had drinks
together after their “consensual” sexual intercourse
and thus befuddled by the turn of events.
The father of two has been taken back to the
Airport Police station where he is expected to
spend the night.
Hordes of his friends and loved ones swamped the
crime scene as well as the police station to show
their solidarity.

While I was working in a muslim mosque as an
imam, as a parish priest, I preach in my parish
that Jesus Christ is not God, for me, God was
only Allah, and I believed Allah never got
married, so no sons for Allah. So I preached
there that Jesus is not God. Then somebody
ask me, who is Jesus?’’ from the crowd.
Maybe a muslim, but he asked me, who is
Jesus?’’ I was preaching he is not God, but the
question is who is he? To know who is Jesus?
I read the entire Koran once again: 114
chapters, 6666 in the Koran when I read it, the
name of prophet Muhammad. I found it in
Koran 4 places, but the name of Jesus I found
in 25 places. There itself, I was a little
confused. Why does the Koran give more
preference to Jesus? And second thing, I could
not see any woman’s name in Koran: the
Prophet Muhammad’s mother’s name, or
wife’s name, no, in the Koran, there is only one
woman’s name that i found is Mariam, the
mother of Jesus no other woman’s name. And
in the holy Koran chapter 3, the name of the
chapter is family of Mariam,’’ and holy Koran
chapter 19, the name of the chapter itself is
‘’MARIAM’’ one chapter is ‘’MARIAM’’ so I
was very curious to know why does Koran
says all these things about MARIAM, holy
Koran chapter 3 verse 34 onwards says that
Mary was born without original sin, she never
committed any sin in her life, she was ever
virgin.
Koran chapter 50 verses 23 say that she went
to heaven with her physical body. Even the
assumption is writing in the holy Koran and
then about Jesus, when I read chapter 3
verses 45 to 55 verses, there is 10 point which
the Koran makes about Jesus. The first thing
Koran says (kallimatulli) the arabic word which
means ‘’the of God’’ and second thing is
( ahimokuli ) which mean spirit of God and the
third (isa masi) which means Jesus Christ so
Koran give the name for Jesus WORD OF GOD,
SPIRIT OF GOD, JESUS CHRIST. And then
Koran says that Jesus spoke when he was
very small, like 2 days old. after his birth he
began to speak , Koran says that Jesus created
a live bird with mud. He took some mud, he
formed a bird; when breathed into it, it became
a live bird. So I think Jesus can give life
because he gave life to mud, clay, and then
Koran says that Jesus cured a man born blind
and a man with leprosy, e.t.c
Curiously, the Koran says that Jesus gave life
to dead people; Jesus went to heaven; he is
still alive and he will come again. When I saw
all these things in the Koran I taught of what
Koran says about Muhammad, according to the
Koran, prophet Muhammad is not the word of
God, not spirit of God he never spoke when he
was 2 days old, he never created any bird with
mud, he never cure any sick people, he never
raised any dead people, he himself died, and
according to Islam he is not alive and he will
not come back. So there is a lot of different
between these two prophets. I didn’t call
Jesus, God, you know my idea was ‘’He is a
prophet but he is a prophet greater than
Muhammad; so one day I went to my teacher,
the one who taught me 10 years in Arabic
college, and I ask him, teacher, how did God
created the universe? Then he said God
created the universe through the word,’’
THROUGH THE WORD. Then my question is:
‘’WORD’’ is creator or creation? He must clear
this, my question is whether the WORD of God
is creator or creation. Koran says Jesus is
WORD of God. If my teacher says word of God
is creator, which means Jesus is the creator,
then muslim must become Christian suppose if
he says the word is creation he will be trapped.
You know why? He said everything was
created through the word. Suppose if he said
the word is creation, then how did God created
the word? So he cannot say that the word is
creator, or creation, so he was quite angry he
push me out of his room and said word is not
God, not creator or the creation you get out of
here, ‘’he said
The reason why Muslim doesn’t accept to be
Christian is because they are blinded with the
wrong teaching of their priest, Imam. They said
that the word is creation they try to prove it
wrongly…… they say the word is not creator,
not the creation, but not God. And no creation
also. They don’t equal with God, that all their
problem. So when he said that I told my
teacher, word is not the creator or the
creation.’’ So, that is why Christian says the
word is son of God. Then he told me if there is
son for God, I must show him the wife of God.
That without wife no chance of having a son
then I showed him a portion from the Koran.
Koran says that God can see without eyes, God
can talk without tongue, God can hear without
ears. It is writing in the Koran. I said if that is
the case, so God can have a child without a
wife. I took my Koran, I put it on my chest, and
I said ‘’Allah’’, tell me what I should do because
your Koran says Jesus is still alive, and
Mohammad is no more. Tell me whom should I
accept.’’ after my prayer I opened the Koran, I
didn’t asked anyone, I asked only my Allah.
When I opened Koran, I saw chapter 10 verses
94. You know what Koran says? It says if you
have any doubt in this Koran which I give to
you, go and read the Bible, or ask the people,
those who read the Bible. The truth is already
revealing that.
I beg all muslim to give their life to Christ
because he is the only way to the kingdom of
God. Please don’t perish like other muslims
that is serving the god they do not know. I
welcome you into Christ Jesus as you change
your mind to accept him today. God bless you.

She Didn’t Complain When We Were Doing It + It Was Consensual With 19-year-old,

Ghanaian celebrity, Kwasi Kyei Darkwa alias
K.K.D has denied raping a 19-year-old girl
but admits having consensual sex with her.
He was arrested Saturday night, for allegedly
raping the teenager whose identity is yet to
be known.
His lawyer Nana Asante Bediatuo told Joy
News the two had consensual sex Saturday
night and KKD is “baffled why she now says
it is rape.”
“There were other people around and it’s
difficult for me to understand how a person
can be forced to have sexual relations and
the people around won’t hear cries or shouts
for help,” he stated.
The sexual encounter is alleged to have
happened in a “bathroom” of the African
Regent Hotel suite.
The lady has to prove it was not a
consensual sex, Nana Bediatuo said.
He added after the act, the two went outside
of the bathroom, had drinks and watched a
show together in the suite.

Ghanaian celebrity, Kwasi Kyei Darkwa who
was arrested by the Airpot Police for an
alleged rape, has been granted bail.
This was after his lawyer, Nana Asante
Bediatuo visited his client at the station when
news of his arrest broke.
Details of the arrest have been sketchy, but
KKD as he is popularly known, is reported to
have denied the charge against him by his
unnamed victim.
Sources at the Airport Police Station told Joy
News the showbiz personality who is also
the Chief Executive Officer at The Finest
Productions.
The police have initiated investigations into
the case.

I Regret Insu|ting Obinim – Afia Schwarzenegger

UTV Kokooko host, Afia Schwarzenegger, has
conceded that the worst thing she had ever
done in life was insulting Ghanaian charismatic
pastor, Bishop Daniel Obinim.The actress a
few weeks back started a campaign against
“fake pastors” and urged Ghanaians,
Christians in particular to “say no to fake
pastors and show them the red card”.
The campaign which started on social media,
Facebook, came on the heels of heated
exchanges between her and Bishop Obinim,
who is the Founder and Leader of God’s Way
International Ministry.
The fight between the two began after Obinim
showered invectives on the actress during one
of his televised Sunday sermons.
Schwarzenegger rebutted in equal measure
with a series of videos in which she called
Obinim names and accused him of being a
fake pastor.
She claimed Obinim’s abuse of her person was
sparked by her refusal to give in to the
Bishop’s persistent romantic proposals.
But in an interview with Kafui Dey, on Friday
December 19, Schwarzenegger said she
wished she had rather not engaged the
spiritual leader.
“The worst thing was to insult Obinim via
videos. [I] did six videos” she said.
Meanwhile, the actress is determined to
continue her war against “fake pastors”.
She also talked about her wish to be able to
pass a bill in Ghana’s parliament banning
those religious leaders.

I have not seen my son’s body – Castro’s father

John Eshun, father of Ghanaian hiplife artiste,
Theophilus Tagoe, popularly known as Castro has
denied rumors that his son is alive and is in
Takoradi, in the Western Region.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on Hitz FM, Mr
Eshun said he does not know the source of the
preposterous news about his son, stressing he
hasn’t come across Castro anywhere.
“I haven’t seen my son’s body anywhere,” he said.
Mr Eshun, who works with Ghana Ports and Harbor
Authority, stressed that until he sees his son’s body
and the life jacket, he will never believe that Castro
is dead.
Mr. Bandu, father of Janet, the young lady who
disappeared with Castro, told Starr FM in an
interview that some underground people in
Takoradi have relayed to him that Castro is alive
and is in the oil city.

MzVee Disgraces Herself

weekend had the shock of her life at the
Ovation Carol and Awards, report say. Mzvee
is reported to have asked the patrons at the
event to be making noise for her which they
did not do.
MzVee again asked them to raise one finger

Amnesty International To File For Arrest Of Bishop Obinim For Stomping Pregnant woman's belly

The Ghana Chapter of Amnesty International
is demanding the arrest and prosecution of
Bishop Daniel Obinim for stomping on the
protruded belly of a pregnant woman during
an exorcism session in his church.
“Such a person should be brought to book…
the Police can arrest such a person and
investigations conducted,” Executive Director
Lawrence Amesu told STARR FM’s Sika
Yabani in an interview Wednesday.
A 42-second video, which has gone viral on
social media, captured the International
God’s way church Founder stomping on the
pregnant woman during the exorcism
session.
Several groups, including the MamaYe
Campaign and the Alliance for Reproductive
Health Rights (ARHR) have condemned the
act.
Motivational speaker, Reverend Albert Ocran
also told MORNING STARR host Kafui Dey on
Tuesday that criminal charges must be
pressed against Obinim for doing what he
did.
“Very importantly, crime is crime and let’s
draw a line between excesses and crime.
“And if somebody steps on the foot of a
pregnant person, it is assault and there is
criminal prosecution and there is evidence
right there and so let’s just go for that,” he
said.
Amnesty International has also called on
religious groups and associations to which
Obinim belongs, “to call him to order”
because people of his ilk “cannot do
whatever they want in society.”
“Journalists should not keep quiet. Civil
society…should not keep quiet. We should
ensure that we bring such a person to
order,” Amesu said.
