Multiple award-winning rapper, Sarkodie, has
announced his readiness to release his fourth
album, titled ‘Mary’, and all instrumentals are
recorded LIVE! The rapper made the announcement
on Tuesday via his official social media platforms.
In a rather emotional statement, the ‘Adonai’ rapper
poured his heart out to his late grandmother, who
had always wanted him to record live music but
passed away. Sarkodie also explained that he did
not hint of his current project on any platform
earlier because he needed “time, patience and a
sound mind to record.” He further added that he is
proud to have challenged himself, and “I know my
fans will love this project and appreciate it” due to
the amount of work he invested in it.
The album ‘Mary’ is expected to be released in
2015, with instrumentals by the genius Akwaboah.
Sarkodie already has three albums to his credit:
Makye, Rapperholic and Sarkology.

Took me 2 years to record this Album * Mary * ....
Didn't tweet or talk about it cos I needed Time,
patience and a sound mind to record #NoPressure .
Thank God I finally wrapped up. Mary is named
after my late GrandMa who always wanted me to
record live music but couldn't live to see me do it...
may her soul rest in peace. All instruments on this
album was recorded Live!!! Thanks to the genius
Akwaboah who worked on this project with me... As
an artist it is very important to challenge yourself
and I'm proud I did .. I know my fans will love this
project and appreciate it due the amount work and
effort that went into it... documented the whole
studio sessions and promise to share with yall!!!
