Even before the much touted Vodafone Ghana
Music Awards (VGMA) is held somewhere in April
the fans of Entertainment Ghana on facebook
have spoken.
After weeks of interacting with fans of
Entertainment Ghana on Facebook. We sample
the views of some fans. Entertainment Ghana has
close to about 80,000 fans on facebook.
Entertainment Ghana decided to award five
categories of musicians for the maiden edition of
Entertainment Ghana Facebook Awards. The
categories under consideration were Artiste of the
year, Gospel music of the year, Highlife song of
the year, Hiplife song of the year and New Artiste
of the year.
The award is 100 percent the votes of the fans
on facebook and it is the people’s voice. They
voted Shatta Wale as the artiste of the year and
OJ as the gospel artiste of the year. The hiplife
song of the year went to Bisa Kadie whiles the
most popular collaboration between Castro,
Asamoah Gyan and Kofi Kinata won the Highlife
song of the year. The hottest Tonga Boy Joey B
won the new artiste of the year.
Their awards will be presented to them and
pictures will be posted on our Facebook wall.

The various artiste who won awards will be given
their prizes on 12th March, 2014.
