Yvonne Okoro Makes Ghana Proud

Popular Ghanaian actress Yvonne Okoro’s self
produced movie, ‘Contact,’ made Ghana proud as
it emerged on the winners’ list of the 2014
edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice
Awards held on Saturday night at Eko Hotel &
Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos in Nigeria .
‘Contract’ took four awards in all including the
Overall Best Movie of the 2014 edition of the
ceremony.
Other categories included Best Movie Director ,
Best Writing (Drama) and Best Video Editing .
Frank Rajah Showcasing his award
‘The Price,’ directed by Frank Rajah won Best
Movie in the Drama category, giving Ghana five
awards in all.
Other winners of the evening included Osita Iheme
and Funke Akindele who picked Best Actor and
Best Actress in Comedy categories, while
Desmond Elliot and Nse Ikpe-Etim also took Best
Supporting Actor and Best Actress (Drama).
Veteran actor Pete Edochie was given Industry
Merit Award.
The event was hosted by IK Osakioduwa, Osas
Ighodaro and Vimbai Mutinhiri.
A number of African actors attended the ceremony
with majority from Nollywood.
It was also a moment for the stars to showcase
their glamorous dresses.
Yvonne Okoro looked great in a dress by Pistis
which elevated her contours. Her make-up was
by Joyce Jacob and hair by Redginger.
