Akosua Puni Essien, wife of footballer Michael
Essien is launching an Ebola education campaign in
various West African countries.
She will be using messages from popular
footballers including her husband Michael Essien to
get the attention of the people so as to attain
positive results in eradicating the Ebola virus.
Speaking to BBC Newsday in an interview on
January 21, as one of the Ambassadors of the
initiative, she said the charity called Health Africa
International, will launch the new campaign to
educate people on the dangers of the deadly virus.
