Hiplife artiste, Pope Skinny has dismissed claims
that all musicians in Ghana smoke weed before
performing.
Speaking in an interview with Mic Gizo on the
“Showbiz Today” show on Hitz FM, Pope Skinny
said that he rather smokes shisha.
“I do not take any hard drug, I only smoke shisha”,
the rapper said.
Shisha, also known as hookah, is an Arabic water
pipe through which tobacco mixed with molasses
and flavour extract is smoked.
According to the rapper, most musicians cannot
perform without smoking marijuana but he doesn’t
smoke any hard drug or even take alcohol.
Pope Skinny is a rapper and host of award-winning
radio programme ‘Kasa Hari Level’ on Adom FM.
