KWAW KESE TRIAL: COURT ADJOURNS HEARING TO FEB 5

The judge presiding ove the case against musician
Emmanuel Botchwey, popularly known as Kwaw
Kese, has adjourned hearing to February 5, 2015.
The prosecutor asked the court to adjourn the case
because he could not present his witness.
Kwaw Kese’s lawyer also pleaded that the case be
adjourned for the musician to recuperate. The
rapper is standing trial for allegedly smoking a
substance suspected to be Indian hemp.
Kwaw Kese was arrested by the Police in Kumasi
on November 22, 2014. The Hiplife artiste shuttled
between jail and the hospital after he was arrested
and remanded in prison custody.
His lawyers pleaded with the judge to grant him bail
after his stay in a hospital.
The prosecutor has said Kwaw Kese tested positive
for the substance after the medical test.
Meanwhile, the musician has started a campaign
against the use of illicit drugs, warning the youth
against using such dangerous drugs.
