NEWS-ONE has captured interesting and exclusive
photos of popular Ghanaian actor David Dontoh
taking a sweet bite of ‘Agbeli Kaklo,’ a local
Ghanaian doughnut made from Cassava and oil,
which some persons popularly call “Russia Bullet.”
One isn’t sure how many Ghanaian stars will like to
be seen in public taking it, but David Dontoh was
captured taking it while on actress Yvonne Nelson’s
movie set in Afokpa Village in the East Region, a
couple of weeks ago.
The veteran actor was playing Yvonne Nelson’s
wicked uncle in the upcoming production titled, If
Tomorrow Never Comes, which is his first cast job
with the beautiful actress-turned-producer.
David had just finished shooting a scene on the
Volta River, took his seat to read over his lines for
the next scene when he spotted the Agbeli Kaklo
seller and called her to come.

When she came, he picked one Agbeli Kaklo and
took a bite before requesting for more.
David Dontoh has neither said anywhere that Agbeli
Kaklo is his favourite nor has he said he wants to
be an Agbeli Kaklo ambassador. However, he took
his bites with some enthusiasm.
None of the other popular stars on the set were
seen buying Agbeli Kaklo during the time of NEWS-
ONE’s visit except David and the production’s
sound man.
