Controversial rapper Kwaw Kese, known in real life
as Emmanuel Botchwey, could walk a free man if
prosecutors fail to present a witness in court, the
presiding judge has threatened.
Justice William Boampon reluctantly adjourned
hearing to February 13 but threatened to set the
rapper free if the prosecution failed to present a
witness.
This is the fourth time the case has been adjourned.
Kwaw Kese was arrested in Kumasi on November
22, 2014 for smoking weed at a pub, free and was
granted bail on December 30, after three failed
attempts.
When the case was called Thursday, the
prosecution again failed to present a witness, a

State prosecutor, Superintendent Emmanuel
Akornnor has been asked to produce the witness
during the next adjourned date.
