Oh How? Female fan gets orgasm watching M.anifest’s video?

mm, the things we see and hear on social media!
M.anifest recently got an unusual comment from a
fan on Facebook, which left the rather eloquent
rapper speechless. M.anifest, who had recently
rocked the “Madina Block Party” held on February
23 posted an appreciation message on his official
Facebook page. A female fan by name Ohemaa
Ahoufe Kessewaa, left a comment hinting that the
rapper’s videos give her orgasms when she
watches them – especially his latest collaboration
with Obrafour,’ No Shortcut To Heaven’. She wrote
“Any time I watch your video on tv I’m close to my
orgasm especially no short cut to heaven with
Obrafour.”

Chris Brown curses out fan on instagram

When Chris Brown loses control, he goes all out.
After a super fan (who wrote many times that she
loved him) scolded the singer for disrespecting
Rihanna and Karrueche in recent interviews, Chris
fired back telling her she and the rest of his fans
don’t matter and never did. See that after the cut…
Chris Brown saw the comment and fired

GN People’s Choice Awards still on for March 21

The maiden show of the most publicized
entertainment awards show, The GN Bank People’s
Choice Awards billed for the 21st March 2015 at the
Accra Conference Center remains as scheduled.
Spyderlee Entertainment, organizers of the show
disclosed this in a press statement issued on
Friday, 27th February 2015 to debunk claims that
the program had been cancelled due to a court
injunction slapped on it.
The statement expressed grave concerns over the
false publications targeted at undermining the
painstaking efforts of the company and the awards
board to unveil the prestigious honors event in the
country. Setting the records straight over the legal
controversy revolving round the name of the
program, the statement explained that
”Spyder Lee Entertainment had successfully and
legally registered People’s Choice Awards as a
business at the Registrar General’s Department and
subsequently registered GN Bank People’s Choice
Awards as a trademark yet had been embroiled in a
legal tussle with Evolution International over the
ownership of the name People’s Choice Awards”.
The statement further added that,
“In April 2014, Spyder Lee Entertainment in a two
week media campaign massively publicized the
introduction of the awards and went on to launch
the awards in November 2014. Surprisingly, weeks
after the launch event, Spyder Lee Entertainment
was notified of the registration of Peoples Choice
Awards by Evolution International and a request to
desist from the use of the name People’s Choice
Awards which resulted in a law suit.”
At the hearing at the Fast Track High Court on
Thursday 26th February 2015, the presiding judge,
Justice Anthony Yeboah, placed an injunction
restraining both parties from using the name
‘People’s Choice Awards’ until the case is settled
between both parties but this does not in any way
affect the event.
The organizers assured all nominees, industry
players and the public to disregard the rumors and
gear up for what promises to be a huge and eventful
ceremony par excellence and international standard
“we assure all nominees and the general public of
our commitment to work within the framework of
the laws governing the Republic of Ghana to ensure
that the awards night comes off as planned amidst
all the pomp and pageantry as expected”.
The statement also disclosed the massive public
response to the nominee campaigns so far and the
swelling expectations of industry watchers of the
upcoming GN PCA AWARDS along “the massive
celebrities’ endorsements of the event”.
Journalists seeking further clarification are being
urged by the press release to contact Spyderlee
Entertainment offices especially “when in doubt
before going ahead to make such publications in the
spirit of professional journalistic practice”.

Obrafour releases new single ‘Pimpinaa’ featuring Bisa Kdei

Rap icon, Obrafour known in real life as Michael
Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko has released a new
single ‘Pimpinaa’ featuring the inspirational highlife
artiste and singer Bisa Kdei.
The hip life song produced by Bisa Kdei was leaked
earlier yesterday forcing the hip life mogul to
release it.
It showcases the rap flair of Obrafour as he talks
about his respect for a woman and his
preparedness in sending the woman to the altar
over an affair.
Obrafour has been the favourite of many Ghanaians
ever since he hit the music scene in 1999 with ‘Pae
mu ka'.

I had to wait for 10 years to have my first child - Pastor Joe Beecham

Pastor Joe Beecham was on eTV's The Late Nite
Celebrity Show and shared how long it took him to
get his first child after ten years of marriage.
The Masem Bi singer talking about the inspiration
for his songs revealed;
“I believe you can’t give what you don’t have, I
have been through things and I come from a family
with lots of struggle so I understand what it means
to be struggling. So when I sing I try to relate to
what the listener is going through.
“For instance, I had to wait for ten years after I
married to have a child. And during the waiting, you
could just imagine, this is an anointed man, this is
someone who ministers and people receive
deliverance and all, there’s this saying that when
the encourager is down, who encourages him? I
also heard the late former President ask ‘who
watches over the watchmen?’
“When the man of God stands on the pulpit and
afterwards locks his door and asks God what is
happening to me… I was at the point where it wasn’t
happening.
I knew it was going to happen but it wasn’t
happening.
“One day I was having my bath and I stood in the
basin and asked, God, why me? I pray for people
and they receive the fruit of the womb and deliver,
so this small thing you can’t do for me, God, I won’t
ask you again. I will never talk to you about this
thing again. You have to put him to the test. You
have to bring him to a place where you show him
his own word. He said “I will never leave you alone,
call me.” That same year which was my ninth year
after marriage, it happened. My wife conceived. The
name of my first child is Elisa.”
The Joe Beecham Ministries is scheduled to launch
on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Alisa Hotel in
Accra will see the release of two singles from his
upcoming sixth album which is due to be unveiled in
May 2015.

Nana Ama McBrown is rich but... - Amanda Jissih

Popular TV presenter Amanda Jissih on Wednesday,
25 February 2015 gave a lecture at the Abbeam
University also known as Abbeam Institute of
Technology.
The old girl of Mfantsiman Girls' Secondary School
in her talk gave account of her journey through the
showbiz industry as a former radio presenter and
currently a TV presenter, actress and musician.
Amanda Jissih sharing her success story with
students of the school said it was not achieved on a
silver platter. She added that some of her colleague
public figures went through hell but "with
determination and hard work, we see them today
as persons who have never suffered in life".
The former Hitz FM drive time host revealed that
some celebrities live a certain lifestyle just to
please the public but not according to what they
earn. According to her, Ghanaians see a public
figure as a rich person who needs to live an
extraordinary life.
“People ask for loans and if you don’t get it for
them, they become your enemies because every
day they see you change clothes and they think it
is always well.
It is only well because we are hoping that it will be
well by God’s grace but not because we have fat
amount of money somewhere.
“I wake up in the morning, walk out and wash my
car. The fame is big but how much do you earn for
you to hire a house help, you just have to do
everything yourself. You even end up blessing
yourself when you do all these things.”
She named Nana Ama Mcbrown and other
celebrities as public figures who are rich but are
down to earth. She told the students that “there are
lots of celebrities who are doing that, don’t let the
fame eat into your mind so much, it will destroy
you.”
“I’m not telling you lies, fame is good but it can
destroy you.”
Abbeam Institute of Technology located in Kasoa is
a not-for-profit organisation, a Ghanaian private
higher institution of learning established in 2010 by
the Chancellor Prof. Abbeam Ampomah Danso to
transform society and Ghana at large.

Court injunction placed on maiden People’s Choice Awards Ghana

An Accra fast track high court has today Thursday
February 26, 2015, placed an injunction on the well-
publicized and much-anticipated maiden edition of
the People’s Choice Awards Ghana.
Two event companies Spyder Lee Entertainment
and Evolution International have been battling over
the ownership of the name “People’s Choice
Awards” which ended up in court.
Evolution International first registered the awards
scheme as a trademark in 2011 and Spyder Lee
Entertainment also registered the same name as a
business name in 2012 both at the Registrar
General's Department.
Speaking to Peacefmonline.com immediately after
court processing this morning, Lawyer Alex Kojo
Abban, lawyer for Evolution International, confirmed
that an Accra fast track high court presided over by
Justice Anthony Yeboah has placed a court
injunction restraining both parties from using the
name ‘People’s Choice Awards’ until the case is
settled between both parties.
Lawyer Abban added that, he and his client-
Evolution International didn't intend to reach the
level of a court injunction, as they have tried as
much as they could to settle this amicably with
organizers of the upcoming event; Spyder Lee
Entertainment but they have blatantly ignored and
disregarded their efforts and gone ahead to
organize the event.
As it stands now, Evolution International has filed a
statement of claim and Spyder Lee has also filed
their statement of defense. So the complainants
have to file their reply if there is any reply and then
they will file an application for directions before they
appear in court for both complainants and
defendants to present their cases for court to
decide.
According to Lawyer Abban, Evolution International
wrote a letter dated January 6, 2015 to Spyder Lee
Entertainment and copied the Registrar General
Department and also copied GN Bank which is the
title sponsor of the event, alerting them of their
ownership of the name but there was no reply or
acknowledgement of receipt whatsoever, so they
decided to seek redress in court.
By the court injunction, Spyder Lee Entertainment is
expected to stop all radio and Television
commercials, billboards, flyers and other means of
communication geared towards publicizing the
event until the court case is over.
“In fact they were supposed to put everything on
hold when we sent an application and they were
served, but they didn't do it and we also didn't want
to cite them for contempt but now that it’s a court
order, if they don’t comply they would be cited for
contempt. For as long as the event has the name
‘People’s Choice Awards’, they can’t go on”.
The People’s Choice Awards Ghana 2015 was
officially launched at a special stakeholder and
media event at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in
Accra, on Thursday, November 27 and the main
awards night is scheduled to take place on
Saturday 21st March 2015 at the Accra
International Conference Centre.

Aside me, Sarkodie is the best thing that ever happened to Hiplife - Obrafour

Rap icon Obrafour in an interview with Pluzz FM
revealed why he gave Sarkodie his ‘crown’ in the
Saa Okodie No video.
The wordsmith revealed he was bias when it came
to the BET winner.
“I’m bias for Sarkodie but it’s not because I know
him as a person but for his work ethic and how he
constructs his rap. Sorry to say but sometimes he
says some useless things but I got to realize those
were stuff he took on as he progressed. Because
when you want him to descend into a gutter and
work with him he will descend in and work.
Sometimes the curse words he uses are not
appropriate but he believes it will aid him to express
his art better. But I don’t blame him much, society
is hypocritical, we say this and that is not proper
but we are the same people who will chase those
same things.
“The world likes nonsense. All I want to say is
Sarkodie works very hard. If you put me aside, he
is the best thing that ever happened to Hiplife. God
knows why he brought me, and I agree with God to
some extent because God doesn’t bring one person
to do everything. He brings some people to open a
door for the rest to enter. So, if you see people
putting in effort you must acknowledge it.
“Not everyone will agree with me but I see he is
doing well, and I see that if I can’t reach the
promise land why I shouldn’t push him to. He is
going to do more than he’s doing now. Rap is not a
competition and so I wouldn’t compare his exploits
with mine. I haven’t handed a Hiplife crown to him
but to me I think Sarkodie has done a lot.” He
concluded.

Stonebwoy, MzVee together again

Following their successful collaboration on Natural
Girl, dancehall artistes Stonebwoy and MzVee have
released yet another single, Come Over.
In Come Over, a love song, Stonebwoy and MzVee
profess their love to each other and each describes
the other as the “baddest there is.” They tell each
other to “come over” in order to have a good time.
Stonebwoy and MzVee take turns to rap in Patois
on the song, however, MzVee is the only one who
sings the chorus.
Done mainly in Patois and English, Come Over has
a catchy rhythm which is sure to appeal to fans of
the reggae/ dancehall music genre.
In an interview with Stonebwoy on Monday, the
Bhim Nation star disclosed this new collaboration
was because of the positive reception their earlier
song Natural Girl, received from their fans and the
public at large.
“We kept getting so many calls and messages on
social media, to the point where many people
thought MzVee and I were dating. We are not
dating, we just have good chemistry and work well
together. We decided that since the public loved our
first project so much why not give them another
taste of what they have been asking for. Natural
Girl was MzVee’s song on which I featured but
Come Over is my song which features MzVee,” he
said.

Stonebwoy was excited that his personal DJ, DJ
Justice was crowned the Best Artiste DJ of the
Year at the recently held Ghana DJ Awards. “This
award shows a recognition of how much work we
put in the year under review. All the shows and
events I played were successful thanks to the work
of my entire team.
Speaking on the forthcoming Vodafone Ghana
Music Awards, Stonebwoy was hopeful that he
would sweep majority of the awards in the Reggae/
Dancehall category. “The award my DJ won at the
Ghana DJ Awards is just the first of many to be won
in 2015. Although the nominees are yet to be
announced, I am certain that categories such as
Artiste of the Year, Reggae/ Dancehall Song of the
Year, Reggae/ Dancehall Artiste of the Year are
definitely coming my way.”
Stonebwoy asked his fans to expect a number of
new projects from him, including a collaboration
with a number of internationally acclaimed artistes
from Jamaica. “I have a song with one of the
biggest Reggae artistes, Lazar Morgan as well as
another with D’angel, former wife of Beenie Man
who is considered the first lady of dancehall in
Jamaica,” he said.

"Creative industry is no place for drop outs"

The acting Eastern Regional Director of Centre for
National Culture(CNC), Rev. Stephen Ebo Kessie,
said the creative industry is no longer a place for
school drop outs.
The industry now requires high sense of intelligence
and skills to enable one to excel, he said, adding
that, young people in the industry needed to be
nurtured to maturity to bring the best out of them.
Rev. Kessie was speaking at the opening of a three-
day Joy Industries Basic Schools Drama and
Poetry Festival, which was organized under the
theme "nurturing and directing young talents toward
nation building" at Koforidua.
He explained that the three days festival will be able
to unearth the latent talents of the young
participants who could be nurtured for them to
become great writers, poets and actors.
He advised the children to take their studies serious
and put an end to the unnecessary internet usage
but rather visit the library to read to broaden their
knowledge.
Mr Andy Agbemehia, a representative of the New
Juaben Municipal Chief Executive, said the youth
who were the future leaders of the country needed
to be adequately prepared through diverse
knowledge and skill acquisition.
He called on parents and teachers to play their role
to ensure that, the youth got the moral upbringing
that instilled discipline in them.

Mr Agbemehia called for better equipment of young
people with skills to enable them respond to the
ever changing world.
Madam Esther Otu, Deputy Municipal Director of
Education, said nations with appropriate human
resource were able to develop faster because they
were able to effectively utilize their resources and
also take advantage of the natural resources of
other nations.
She explained that, it is therefore necessary to
identify, develop and direct all talents of the young
ones toward nation building and called for concerted
efforts of all stakeholders.
Madam Otu urged parents and teachers to identify
the talents of young people and advised them not to
look down on any talent.
She urged co-operate bodies, institutions and the
state to take the responsibility to provide
opportunities for the young ones to showcase their
talents.
Mr Ofosu Kwakye of the Ghana Education Service,
Koforidua, said drama was part of one’s culture that
seeks to reshape one’s lives.
The festival has 11 basic schools from the
municipality participating and the schools would be

No opposition party should endorse 'Sikadieee Basabasa' else...Barima Sidney

Rescinding his decision to stop recording political
songs, Barima Sidney has cautioned opposition
political parties to refrain from calling him to
commend him for his song 'Sikadieee Basabasa'
which is meant to put government on its toes.
“I am not on the payroll of any political party, and
so I don’t want any opposition party to call me to
encourage or praise me for my decision and the
just released song, because should they attempt, I
will mention their names in the next song I will be
recording and state their ‘sneaky’ intentions,” he
said.
He added, “they are all the same, that’s why I am
forewarning them to back off with any attempt to
approach me in the name of endorsing my songs
else I will turn my bombarding lesson to them.
Ghana is just one; we need the betterment of the
country for our next generation’s sake.”
Sidney made these statements during a phone
interview with AmaLarbieAfrica adding, “yes, I said
I had quit recording political songs; but I have
decided to bounce back to ‘musically’ bombard the
President till he is ready to turn focus on the
appalling and horrible situations in the country as
they appear not to be ending anytime soon.”
Sidney said in analyzing the state the country finds
itself in recent times, President Mahama and his
administration has failed Ghanaians, “the situation
is so bad that the Ghanaian youth have no future;
not even the Agricultural, Education and Health
Ministries have any hope for the youth.”
“The government has lost its focus and I think he
(President Mahama) will do the country some good
if he overthrows himself out of office; he has no
excuse or explanation to give Ghanaians let alone
assess the performance of his cabinet from the
assembly member, ministers and to himself.
“President Mahama and his administration have
nothing to point at as the major cause or the reason
for poor performance rather, they are poised at
spending state funds while we have many
unattended challenges and problems,” the
‘Donkomi’ singer told AmaLarbieAfrica.
Continuing, “In its mix, corruption cannot be
exempted as government and its officials cannot
even control the heightened corruption among
them, let alone manage the country well. They have
lost focus, and the leader of the country seems not
to have a clear priority.”
The ‘Money’ singer noted that the president needs
to outline his priorities to enable him know what on
the scale of preference is necessary at a particular
time;
“Ghana has the money to solve the existing
problem; a proof is the 7 billion dollar deal with the
Italian Energy Company, ENI and VITOL for the
development of oil and gas to provide over 1100
megawatts of power for the next 20 years starting
from 2017 which by then, Ghanaians would be
extremely used to the ‘dumsor’ and economy
crisis.”
“The government has given us every possible hint
that he is rather being smart at implementing
strategies that will enable him win the 2016
elections; unfortunately, Ghanaians have grown to
be used to such strategies.
“On my part, I will be bombarding him with easily
relatable songs and titles that will remain on the lips
of every Ghanaian like the ‘kpa-kpa-kpa’ and
‘tweaaaa’ terms every 2 weeks whether in ‘dumsor’
or not,” Barima Sidney declared.
On a lighter note, the ‘Scent no’ singer stated the
reason for featuring Countryman Songo on
‘Sikadieee basabasa’ produced by Dr. Ray Beatz;
"It is for the fact that the Asempa FM presenter is
fond of using the term ‘Sikadieeee’ to mete out his
anger at the Sports Ministry, and I felt the need to
generalize it.”

'Go High’ hit song was a prophecy from God - Philipa Baafi

Gospel music icon, Philipa Baafi, has revealed on
Accra-based Atinka FM that her all-time hit song,
‘Go High’, was a prophecy from God, hence its
massive success.
According to her, she was not too surprised about
the huge success of the song because it was
prophecy fulfilled.
“I was worshipping one day when God gave me the
song and God specifically said He would make an
organisation buy the song and make it a big hit,”
the gospel queen revealed.
The song, which was a massive hit in the year 2007
was bought by the then ruling New Patriotic Party
(NPP) and subsequently used as campaign song in
the 2008 elections.

Speaking on Atinka FM’s mid-morning show on
Tuesday, the gospel icon disclosed that when the
revelation came, she thought it was one of the
telecom companies that would show interest in the
song, “but it turned out that, the prophecy was
directed at the NPP.”
Asked by the host if she would sell any of her
songs when a political party requests for it again,
the beautiful singer said she would pray for God’s
direction.

Controversial Ghanaian reggae artiste and host of
Taxi Driver on Hitz FM, Abubakar Ahmed known in
showbiz as Blakk Rasta says dancehall is dead and
he will be shocked if the music genre achieves
what it did back in 2014, this year.
The opinionated musician said this on Hitz
Entertainment News while denouncing reports that
he said dancehall artiste Shatta Wale will not go
anywhere in a recent interview on ETV.
Clearing the air, Blakk Rasta said, “I did not go out
to say Shatta Wale’s music will not go anywhere, he
(the interviewer) asked me about Ghanaian
dancehall so [my answer] was a general
description and prediction of the dancehall scene in
Ghana”.
According to him, “the interviewer then zeroed in
and asked me about some artists like Stonebwoy,
Samini, Shatta Wale and I talked about all these
artistes one after the other but the writer decided to
pick only Shatta Wale and put him up there and say
Blakk Rasta said it. What about Samini, what about
Stonebwoy?”.
On his opinion on dancehall music, he said, “If
dancehall is able to do what it did in 2014, I’ll be
shocked because for me dancehall is dead”.
“I travel out and I don’t hear Ghanaian music. It’s
full of hype and they are not letting the music talk
they are doing the talking and the hype.

They talk about the richest Ghanaian artistes and
the most flamboyant Ghanaian video, all this won’t
take us anywhere, the way they are doing it, it
won’t last”.
The ‘Barrack Obama’ hit singer stressed that, “It’s
true that Ghanaian dancehall music will not go
anywhere, it’s all about Patois. If you don’t speak
Patois, you can’t do dancehall that’s what I’m
saying will not go anywhere.”
He advised that dancehall artistes sing in other
dialects instead and refrain from using profane
words.
“It won’t work unless a few of them decide to be a
little bit more conscious, sing in the local dialects
apart from Patois and refrain from using profane
words.”
“The music won’t go anywhere if we all sing profane
dancehall. Why don’t they sing about ‘Dumsor’, why
don’t they sing about how pretty African women
are, why don’t they sing about the African
continent, why don’t they sing about the suffering of
the ghetto, why don’t they sing about prosperity,
sing about love rather than the guns and that they
killed 20 people? There are so many things we can
talk about which will uplift and develop us rather
than this nonsense which is presently going on,” he
continued.
“It’s just a suggestion, it’s just an opinion, if you
want your business to last this is what yo

among them are MOBO, MAMAs, IRAWMA, Channel

reintroduce myself to the world yet again. I need to
prove a different side of me to the world so I settled
on Breaking News as the title of the 6th album,
which comes with a completely new direction.
“Stronger Management Team too with head office
in the USA as well as another in Ghana. I'm putting
all the necessary resources to get this album ready
by April 2015", Samini explained.
Meanwhile, a new single called "Hotter Fyah", one
of the smashing hit songs on the BreakingNews

I'm single...my two wives have left me - Samini reveals

Self-acclaimed ‘African dancehall king’, Samini, has
revealed that he is no longer married and has no
wife presently, contrary to the known fact that he
had two wives.
Making the revelation to Delay Frimpong Manso on
the Delay Show on Viasat1 after some hesitation,
Samini said that he had married two ladies at a
young age with the perception that he was doing the
honourable thing of marrying all the mothers of his
children.
According to him, he felt he was doing the right
thing but the ladies, after a while did not agree to
the arrangement of being married to the same man
and the circumstances of the marriages and
decided to call it quit; so he is currently with no
wife.
‘I don’t have a wife. Everybody has gone their
separate ways. Thanks to civilization, my former
wives decided to stop the marriage,’ he disclosed.
Samini defended his action of marrying more than
one woman by saying: “where I come from, it is
acceptable to marry more than one woman and it
was my wish to marry all the mothers of my kids
and make them comfortable.

I thought I was doing the right thing but the women
felt otherwise”
“Once you can take care of your wives and
children, it is acceptable to marry the women as a
responsible man,” he continued.
The irony of Samini’s marriage life which hit the
headlines years ago was not about his marriage to
two different women but how he did it.
In February 2011, Samini got married to Mercy
Geker, mother of his daughter, Yelisun Samini in
London. At the time, Samini was already engaged to
Christian Aboagye Mensah, a Ghanaian-based in
Canada and the mother of his daughters- Toyila
Samini and Ayana Samini, unbeknownst to Mercy
Geker.
Samini, on 10th May 2011, officially registered his
marriage to Christiana Aboagye Mensah in a low
profile ceremony which took place at the Registrar
General’s Office in Accra in the presence of their
children.
Samini currently has four kids, three girls and one
boy from different women but he is not married to
any of the women, per his account.

I’ll keep tormenting the President - Barima Sidney

Controversial hiplife artiste Barima Sidney says he
will continue to torment the President and politicians
with his music until they make things right.
Barima Sidney made the revelation when he was
asked if returning to performing political songs will
not affect his music career, during an interview on
Hitz Entertainment News with Doreen Avio
Wednesday.
He said, “Even if it affects me, I’ve already made up
my mind to do it. There is a positive and negative
side to everything but you have to let the positive
outweigh the negative so no matter what I’ll go
through; I’m ready to go through it. Posterity will
judge one day”.
Sidney, who disclosed to Hitz Entertainment News
some time back that he was not going to do political
songs anymore, said he took that decision because
he was the only soldier in that fight.
“I faced a lot of challenges after my “Donkomi”
song and based on that I decided to just stop doing
political songs because it’s a very lonely road and
people also kept advising me to stop doing such
songs and do the normal ones so they can invite
me for shows.
“But it’s not about performing on stages. When you
visit the villages, they tell us, we are the ones who
the politicians listen to so we should continue and
we will be heard,” he noted.
Barima Sidney said he almost gave up but had to
return to doing political songs because he realized
that it was his calling and more especially now that
things are not going well in Ghana.
He has released a new single titled “Sikadiee
Basabasa” which talks about the current economic
situation being experienced in the country. The
song features Asempa FM’s Patrick Osei Agyeman
popularly known as Countryman Songo.
This he says is the first of many songs he is
releasing to torment the President and politicians.
He says, “If God permits, I’ll release songs every
two weeks to torment them till they set their
priorities right because most of us believe the
President is a youth and for that reason [he has] no
excuse to fail and besides, we want him to
succeed.”

Arrest UCC lady...what she did is criminal - Socrates Safo

Outspoken popular movie Producer Socrates Safo
has called for the arrest of controversial student
leader-aspirant of the University of Cape Coast
(UCC) Nana Abena Korkor Addo for willingly and
knowingly recording herself dancing naked and
releasing it on social media.
Speaking on Peace FM’s “Entertainment Review”
Socrates stated that he initially sympathized with
the lady when he first saw the videos because he
thought it was her enemies or opponent who
released it to dent her image but he felt very
disappointed when the lady herself came out
through a separate video to admit she leaked the
videos herself.
“According to classification regulations under the
criminal code on publication of film or video, you
can’t do pornography where you have explicit
nudity. When you publish it, it’s criminal. So under
the law, what the lady has done is criminal. It is
different if her phone was stolen or missing or if she
recorded it for her private use, she is safe but for
her to come out and say that she published the
videos herself, I think she should be arrested”.
Socrates recounted how he came under serious
attack from the media, the public and stakeholders
of the movie industry when he released a particular
movie which was tagged as ‘soft porn’, adding that
if people think it was wrong to produce that movie
and they even criticized the title of that movie, then
it is only right that Korkor would be arrest and
questioned for indulging in such criminal act.
“If I should tell you what I went through based on a
film that I shot and what I went through, when the
same law was used against me and I am just
sitting here today with a similar or even more
serious incident and I can’t believe this lady is
walking freely after she came out to state
categorically that she released the videos herself”.
Two separate videos of a student of the University
of Cape Coast has went viral on social media,
showing a curvy lady who is said to be contesting
for the position of President of the Students
Representative Council (SRC) of the school, dancing
naked inside her hostel.
After the videos were released on social media,
names of certain prominent male Lawyers and
Politicians popped up that they allegedly had sexual
affairs with her, but some of the individuals
mentioned in her publication have denied having
any sexual relationship with her.
The Central Regional Police command started
investigating the leakage of the tapes before Nana
Abena Korkor Addo; a biomedical and forensic
science student came out through a separate video
to admit she leaked the videos herself.
Meanwhile, head of Communications for the
University, Major Kofi Baah Bentum (rtd) disclosed
in an interview with Starr FM that Nana Abena
Korkor Addo left campus immediately after the
videos came public and has not returned since.

KKD's account
As I slowly nibbled her nipple with both hands……
unto her bum, she slid her hand down from my
back to my waist line, and touched my crotch. We
kissed again for over a minute before I caressed
her face and thighs.
She rested her bum on the sink and parted her
thighs. We kissed some more as unfastened my
zipper and she ……nibbled my ear.
We made love for nearly 11 minutes after which she
sat on the toilet seat and wiped her face with a
towel. I washed my face and wiped myself with
tissue, then we both re-arranged our clothes, she
set her hair back in place. While she was tidying up
her hair, somebody knocked on the unlocked door
and said Kofi had rung that the program is about to
begin.
We came out of the bathroom within a moment of
the knock. Effie and I kissed in the living room and
left with Akua and Kofi. We headed for the stairs as
we converse. Effie and Akua walked me to the
entrance of the fashion show.
An usher in a branded T-shirt then asked to lead
me to my seat. Effie said they were going to help
with guests at the entrance as I was led to my seat.
I sat through an almost two hour thirty minutes
show and at the end looked to find Effie.
On not finding her by the poolside, I walked into the
lobby area where some guests had returned to. I
sat in a seat where there was a good view of
guests movement in the lobby. I sat there with Kofi,
Benny and other guests who were getting drinks.
We had a club sandwich but I walked up to the
models area to see if I could find Effie.
I took she was busy and came back down to………
Kofi, Benny and other guest in the lobby in the hope
that she will come by. After some forty minutes and
more, I waited in the lobby. A gentleman in a
uniform came over and spoke politely that my
presence was required at the airport police station
to help with investigations.
I asked what the matter was and the officer advised
that I would be informed. I left my drink and called
my driver to pick myself and the police officer up. I
noticed another police officer who had come into
the lobby too, to join a pickup. We drove after the
pick to the police station. This is my true statement.
I have been told that I can correct and or alter
anything I wish. I made this statement at my own
free will.

I Can Do A Test On Live Television To Prove That Am Not HIV Positive-Actor Hanks Anuku

There were reports some weeks ago that the
A-list Nigerian actor known as Hanks Anuku
had acquired the deadly HIV/AIDS and
intentionally infected his wife with the disease.
The Nigerian actor who spoke to Nana Aba
Anamoah on TV3’s morning show “New Day”
today, February 24th, 2015 has disclosed that
he does not have HIV/AIDS as reported by
several blogs in Nigerian and Ghana.
The Nigerian Actor who is popularly known for
his gangster and action roles in movies stated
emphatically that, he was not HIV positive.
He also exclusively told the host, that, he has
even never visited Zambia or Liberia as
reported too.
Nana Aba Anamoah then pushed the question
again, and the actor said that he was ready to
be tested live on Televison if she wanted.
The actor who is staunch Roman Catholic who
also worships occasionally at T.B Joshua’s
church said that, even the blood of Jesus
wouldn’t allow such ailment in his body.
“Oh God have mercy. It’s false. I woke up one
morning and my phone rang in such an
unusual form and when I answered I was told
about this story.
But I told the caller that he was person calling
a wrong number. But after a while more calls
kept coming in so I prayed to God and asked
him to forgive not just me but everyone who’s
spreading such rumor.
I thought it was a joke but after a while, it was
running like wildfire in my country Nigeria. I
asked myself why me? I am only trying to do
something good here so why would someone
want to condemn me when I haven’t done
anything? I am doing what God says I should
do by letting people know that this or that is
not good for you. I didn’t make myself a celeb.
God did it”.
And they probably don’t know that whatever
they are throwing at me that is evil is going to
turn out for my good. And I am here to defend
it because I don’t have AIDS, I don’t have HIV.
“I have never been to Zambia or Liberia. I have
only been to Sierra Leone to visit Tijan Kabar
when he was President. I have never seen the
Zambian women how they look like let alone
sleep with 80 of them. There are too many
women in Ghana and I haven’t even had the
time to pick up on one because my mind is
pre-occupied with many things like writing
and travelling around to know the country.
They can bring the evidence if they want. The
names of the women, their addresses, the
date I travelled and all that. I am ready to take
them on big time”.
The Actor, whose wife and two kids are in
Nigeria, admitted that the rumor had some
effect on his family who were initially bothered
but stood firmly by him.
“Initially I thought it was going to tear me apart
especially when my family started getting
worried about it.
My “wifey” called me and said Honey; don’t
mind them; that’s the way it is. When I have
the time I do go back to Nigeria because I
need a peace of mind for what I am doing
because in Nigeria when I move around
people follow me. I have a lot of fans around
the world because a lot of the youth are
impacted positively by what I do in the
movies”.

I always wanted to be a pilot - Joselyn

Dumas
Ghanaian actress and TV host, Joselyn Dumas has
revealed she always wanted to become a pilot but
simply lacked the courage to continue when it got to
the part of taking her flying lessons.
Speaking in a recent interview with Pulse Ghana,
the curvaceous actress said she had the
opportunity to proceed with her aim in that regard
back in Arizona, the United States but added that
the huge money involved was also part of the
challenges she faced.
“I wanted to be a pilot, I had an uncle who was a
pilot - Uncle Frank Opare, I thought he was the
smartest person on earth. I got an opportunity to do
a bit of the flying lessons in Arizona but I chickened
out; I don’t know why, plus the money was too
huge, it was a lot of money.”
The Showdown actress said she later realised it is
not all that difficult to become a pilot although she is
today well known as a TV host and actress.
“I realised it didn’t take so much to become a pilot.
You just have to pay for the lessons really and get
the hours in. Obviously the theory aspect of it
comes but the main thing is, you need to put in the
hours. But I wanted to be a pilot, believe it or not.”
Well, it seems the aviation industry’s loss is the
movie industry’s gain as Joselyn Dumas is now one
of the most talked-about Ghanaian actresses and
TV hosts. She made her film debut in 2009 in the
movie, Perfect Pictures.

VGMA 2015: Nominees to be announced on Friday

The journey to music’s biggest night in Ghana
began with a call for nominations which was
answered by musicians from all genres and this
paved the way for the Vodafone Ghana Music
Awards (VGMA) Board to commence sitting.
The Board had the tortuous task of reviewing
hundreds of entries, categorizing and shortlisting
them into the various categories to be awarded.
After many hours of Board deliberations and
numerous sittings, the 2015 VGMA Board has
completed its work and it’s ready to make public,
the nominees list for this year’s event.
The excitement and anxiety is building up, the wait
and the guess work of who will be nominated for
what and who will miss the train would be over in a
few days. The event is set to take place at the
plush La Palm Royal Beach Hotel this Friday 27
February.
The event, strictly by invitation, is a preview of what
to expect at the main event in terms of organization
and it will be attended by a tall list of A-List guests
who will comprise of the crème de la crème in the
entertainment industry, artistes and some hundred
fans of VGMA selected from various VGMA social
media activation.
The theme for this year’s VGMAs is ‘Ignited By
Passion’ which seeks to celebrate the passion and
love of the Event by the 25 million music fans in
Ghana who have remained faithful to the scheme
over the past sixteen years. This will be done by
involving them fully in all aspects of the Festival’s
activities starting from the launch and right through
to the main awards night. Selection will be mainly
done via social media.
This year’s event has seen some major changes
already, the inclusion of a Reggae/ Dancehall
Artiste of the year and the re-definition of the New
Artiste of the year as well as Music Video Directing
categories. Organizers maintain that these changes
have been made based on a general review of the
scheme consistent with its mantra of keeping the
scheme fresh and in synch with current trends.
According to the organisers, Charterhouse, this
year’s launch is a combined launch and Nominees
Party and if previous launches are anything to go
by, one can expect a classy red carpet event which
will preceded the actual program, a well decorated
walk way to the event grounds on the theme, ignited
by passion, lots of paparazzi, socialization and
partying with stars. The event is expected to be on
full of glitz and glamour.
The road to the most anticipated event on the GH
entertainment calendar would be cleared in a few
days, we may not know who will get cut or who will
be nominated for what at this moment but one thing
is for certain, the controversy over who should
have been nominated and who shouldn’t have been
will begin soon after the list of nominees list is
released. However, in the midst of all the
controversies don’t forget to vote for your favourite
artistes should they make the cut.
The 16 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is a
Charterhouse Ghana event, sponsored by Vodafone
Ghana, supported by STAR and GHOne TV, Ignited
by Passion and Powered by 25 million Fans.

'I get lots of filla' - Stacy Amoateng

Barely one month after TV presenter, Stacy
Amoateng started her Restoration show on TV3,
she has astonished herself with the kind of
revelations she gets on her programme week after
week.
Celebrities such as Nana Ama McBrown, Emelia
Brobbey, Helen Asante, Caroline Sampson, Hawa
Abu-Bakr have passed through the show and they
revealed secrets about themselves that sounded
shocking to Stacy.
The latest is Mzbel who has come under heavy
attack when she said on the show that she does
not believe the story of Jesus Christ.
“I am blown away by the kind of revelations I hear
on my show. It is amazing because I never walk on
set with questions in my hand but at the end of the
show, I have more filla than I ever expected” she
told Graphic Showbiz last week.
According to Stacy, she could not have chosen any
better title than Restoration to represent the brand
she wanted to project. She said God wanted her to
touch lives of many people that is why He gave her
the name Restoration to impact on people’s lives.
“When I told my husband two years ago when I
almost lost my life that God has spoken to me
about a show called Restoration, he thought I was
kidding.
“Until some of the prophesies manifested about
things I had seen about other people, my husband
who doubted me started believing me. I fasted and
prayed for several months about the show until a
great man of God revealed to me again that God
wants me to host a programme called Restoration
which would impact on other people”, she said.
Stacy sees her Restoration show more of a ministry
than a just show. To her, the kind of information
that comes out during her show makes her believe
it is God who directs the show.
Citing an example of Nana Ama McBrown’s case,
Stacy explained that after she had said the Lord’s
Prayer with Nana Ama, the latter confessed she
had harboured anger against Praye Tietia who
failed to visit her at the hospital when McBrown had
an accident a couple of years ago.
Among all the interviews Stacy has had, the one
which blew her mind was that of Mzbel. “I couldn’t
just put myself together when Mzbel said she did
not believe in Jesus Christ and that the story was
made up. I wondered why she would say such a
thing in this modern world when a lot of people
believe in Jesus Christ”
Stacy’s aim of hosting Restoration which airs on
TV3 every Saturday from 6pm to 7pm is to help
people come out of their problems.
Stacy said receiving positive comments on her
show is enough reason for her to continue putting
in her best for her new show which is already
getting attention of Ghanaians in and outside the
country.

Who is Yvonne Nelson...- Jon Germain snubs

Jon Germain was on eTV's The Late Nite Celebrity
Show to talk about music, Yvonne Nelson and
Mzbel leaving Metro TV because of him.
The In My Head singer questioned who Yvonne
Nelson was because he didn’t have an idea what
she did for a living.
“Who is that? What does she do? I will like to meet
her sometime.”
But when he was pushed, he succumbed; “I don’t
want to talk about it again because I have spoken
about it enough.”
Commenting on Mzbel’s claims in the media that
she left Metro TV because of Jon, the former
Smash TV host revealed;
“When I heard that, I thought it was quite funny. She
said she left Metro TV because of me, I need to ask
her why.
For most people who have worked with me, I’m a
bit of a perfectionist. Anything I work on I need to
make sure it’s done right. If you ask Kaywa or
anyone I have done work with, after we record, I
get home and then call Kaywa to tell him I didn’t
like how I sounded and so we should scrap it.”
The Love Zone singer continued;
“She was my assistant producer on Smash TV and
if you are working on content and don’t argue about
what should be in it or out of it then you’re not going
to get a great show. One of those things happened
and I think she didn’t like it. But things happen.” He
concluded.

Shatta Wale will not go anywhere - Blakk Rasta

Blakk Rasta was on eTV's The Late Nite Celebrity
Show to talk music and Ghana’s music scene
currently.
The outspoken musician observed;
“I traveled to America and many other places in the
world and there is no Ghana music anywhere.
Show me one Ghanaian song that is making waves
anywhere apart from Ghana.
“Hype! We love hype. All you hear is people
claiming they’ve shot a video for 6 million dollars
and it’s going to be shown on e.TV. So what? Too
much hype! Walk the talk. Be on stage, perform for
hours, sweat and walk off stage tired for the people
to know you’ve given them their money’s worth.
When Giovani mentioned that acts like Rocky
Dawuni, Knii Lante and Fuse ODG were doing well,
the singer argued;
“Very well, that’s subjective. When ten people
watch you perform, when only two did the previous
year, it can be counted as a success. I am talking
about shaking the world. I’m talking about hearing
Ghanaian music like you hear Nigerian music
whenever you go out there.
“We make it look like if can’t speak Patois then it’s
not Reggae or Dancehall.

When it comes to Reggae and Dancehall, we are
still enslaved by the Jamaicans.
Touching on his favorite Dancehall act currently, he
said;
“I think Samini is not bad because he has
Africanized it but of late he has also gone the
Jamaican way. That thing doesn’t go anywhere.
Stonebwoy is not bad but he is also still in the
Jamaican shadow. I want to feel their Africanness
in the music because with what we do you can’t go
on stage after Vibes Kartel has performed. They
will boot you out. I wish they will go out there and
taste the international crowd. You don’t go and
perform for one hundred Ghanaians in a Gym and
think you are touring international.
“Shatta Wale is gifted but Shatta Wale will not go
anywhere with what he is doing. He will tickle
himself and laugh. Go to Youtube and see some of
the international community’s comments under his
songs. Because they hear so much about him and
then decide to check him out and realize, it’s not
real.
“Why is he begging Jamaica. Begging in the sense
that he is always sounding like them. Dancehall is
dying." He concluded.

Let's not politicize 'dumsor' - Okyeame Kwame

Hiplife superstar, Okeame Kwame has stirred
controversy by claiming the past and present
leaders could not escape blame as far as the
country’s recurrent energy crisis is concerned.
According to him, all our presidents- right from Dr
Kwame Nkrumah to John Mahama should have
done far more in tackling the recurrent problem
during their tenures in office.
“In 1957, we were six million, now we are 24 million,
so our leader then, Kwame Nkrumah in his infinite
wisdom should have envisaged the population of
Ghana increasing and build a vast energy reserve to
meet the demand. The same applies to his
successive leaders,” Okyeame Kwame charged.
Speaking on Atinka FM ’s morning show dubbed AM
Drive hosted by Kwame Adinkra, the ‘Rap Doctor’,
who acknowledged that he could receive public
bashing over his comments, noted that this was not
the time for Ghanaians to be playing politics with the
dumsor crisis.
“It saddens me that this whole dumsor thing has
been politicized,” the hip life star lamented.
According to him, this is not the time for politicking
and that it is rather prudent to hold a national
consensus to find a lasting solution to the problem.
Asked by his host, who should initiate the national
consensus, Okyeame Kwame said, ideally, the
president of the Republic should be the initiator.
However, if the president is shy or unwilling to lead
in that direction, “the opposition or other civil
society groups can take up the challenge,” the
originator of the acclaimed “Versatile Show”
suggested.
According to him, the proposed national forum on
dumsor should involve major stakeholders like
engineers, strategists, politicians and businessmen.
He said even Rwanda, which was once ravaged by
war, has been able to build a 24 million- dollar solar
panel to serve over 8,000 homes, why can’t Ghana,
which is regarded as peaceful and blessed with
resources such as oil and gold, embark on such a
sustainable investment.
“We must make a conscious effort to separate
politics from dumsor as a nation for once and come
together and solve the energy crisis, the “Faithful”
hit maker advised.

Bobby Michael confirms relationship with Jackie Appiah?

Nollywood actor, Bobby Michael has chosen to
shame those spreading rumours of him being in
strong relationship with Ghanaian diva, Jackie
Appiah, which he has continually denied in various
interviews.
The actor revealed to Punch that he is currently
trying to build a new relationship with his new found
love who is currently based in the United Kingdom.
Despite not disclosing her identity, the actor
explained that he had to spoil her during the love
day celebration on February 14th, where he got her
some jewelries and perfume.
“In fact, this Valentine’s Day, I was on skype with
her all through the day. She sent me my valentine’s
gift and I did the same. I got her nice jewellery and
some bottles of perfume,” he said.
He stated that though the relationship is a distance
one, he does not mind as he will not allow it affect
the understanding he is trying to create.
